The Project Team is currently analyzing, screening, and refining project alternatives. These refined alternatives will be included in the Draft Feasibility Report and Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report (EIS/EIR) that is planned to be completed in early 2008.
Public scoping meetings were held in January 2006 to provide opportunities for all interested stakeholders to comment on the scope of the environmental studies. The focus of the meetings was to gather comments and suggestions about the environmental review and alternatives analysis. Meetings were held in Concord, Antioch, Sacramento, and the South Bay.
